Trip to the Desert

I've been really good about keeping up my goal of posting at least once a week... until now.  I missed my post last week, not that it's a good excuse, because Pete and I took a trip out to the desert, driving between Las Vegas and LA and stopping at many places in between including Joshua Tree National Park.  I plan on posting more pics soon, but for now here's a sun drenched photo of a teddy-bear cholla from the Cactus Garden in Joshua Tree...
